Welcome to Ask Leo! Answercast #29! I'm Leo Notenboom and I'm answering the questions that people are submitting to ask-leo.com.
This Answercast is brought to you by The Best of Ask Leo! I've been answering questions on Ask Leo! Since August of 2003. It's hard to believe that I'm coming up on nine years in just a couple months. In that time I've answered a bucket-load of questions. The Best of Ask Leo! is a separate email subscription where you will get exactly what that name implies... one complete article from the Ask Leo! archives that I've hand selected as one of the best. These are the most important, the most popular, the most educational, the most helpful: you get the idea, they're the best.

I have found that the Hotmail spam filter is very good. What little gets through can be eliminated by marking the email as spam or phishing ATCMB.
You can block all emails from a domain which I have done in the past. You can also route email to folders or automatically delete it based on who it is from or subject or I believe contents of the emai.
However, that usually isn’t needed. Simply marking spam as spam works very very well, just as you say.
Take Care.
I have had good luck with PCMover when upgrading a computer here in the office where reinstalling software isn’t a good option. The price of PcMover saves you more than it’s cost in time saved. I simply transfer the data over the LAN with PcMover from the old computer to the new one. The program works on only one computer, so if you want to upgrade another computer, you need another license or copy of the program. When ordering a new office computer I usually order it with a copy of PcMover so I can easily move the programs and data from the old computer. Money well spent. It’s usually cheaper when I buy it when I get the new PC.
